| Abstract:
The contribution of the Romania experts in obtaining and finalising the objectives proposed at the foundation of the "Working Group for Apricot Culture and Decline" in 1936 is shown. The effects of applying in Romania fruit growing, the result of the research obtained over the years, especially regarding the best areas for the varieties and the rootstocks, the past knowledge, new varieties and culture technologies, are pointed out. The effect of all these, was the reduction of apricot decline and the increase in apricot production. | |
