EFFECT OF THE SOIL LIME CONTENT ON PHOSPHORUS AND POTASSIUM DYNAMICS AND YIELD OF PEACH TREES

Author:   E. Szücs
Keywords:   factor-, cluster-, regression-, analysis, EUF-method
Abstract:
Data of peach longterm fertilizing experiment were elaborated by factor and cluster analysis. The lime factor was studied first. Correlations of parameters of groups formed by cluster analysis were evaluated by regression analysis.

Of two different methods of dissolving soil phosphorus the EUF-method showed better correlations with leaf-P.

The soil lime content has a negative effect on P and K uptake, yield of peach and phosphorus content of soil. This negative effects can be balanced or moderated to some extent with potassium fertilization.
