HYPOBARIC STORAGE OF VEGETABLES

Abstract:
Storage of some vegetables and vegetable fruits at hypobaric storage conditions extended their storage life. Representative for a number of other vegetables results are given for tomatoes and parsley. Possible reasons for the retardation of ripening and senescence at hypobaric storage are discussed.
