| Abstract:
The storage ability of witloof concerning physiological browning of the leaves was determined by dry matter and 2,6-dichlorophenol-indophenol Natrium test. A working hypothesis to explain this relationship by interactions of the evolution of the respiratory activity and the oxydation of phenols is suggested. Practical applications of these experiments are indicated. | |
