| Abstract:
In this experiment carried out in 1988 and 1990, the fruit set and some pomological characteristics (nut weight, size, kernel ratio etc.) of self and cross pollinated 4 selected almond types were investigated. While no fruit set was observed in the self pollinated almond types, cross pollinated combinations gave a fruit set between 1.53 % and 28.61 %. Nut quality characteristics showed differences according to the years and the combinations. | |
