Abstract:
Canopy condensation, a leading cause of greenhouse fungus diseases, may be detected by a variety of sensors.
Five such sensors, four optical and one based on electrical impedance, were constructed and tested in an empty mini-greenhouse, whose floor was wetted.
Preliminary results show that all sensors respond in a consistent manner to changes in greenhouse relative humidity.
