Abstract:
The most common palm diseases in Brazil are described. The pathogenic agents involved are: Alternaria sp., Bagnisiopsis palmicola, Bipolaris sp., Botryosphaeria theobromae, Catacauma torrendiella, Ceratocystis paradoxa, Coccostroma palmicola, Colletotrichum gloeosporioides, Diplodia euterpes, Exosporium palmivorum, Graphiola phoenicis, Mycosphaerella advena, Pestalotia palmarum, Phoma spp., Phyllosticta spp., and Septoria palmaceae.
