RESEARCH ON VARIABILITIES IN SOME IMPORTANT CHARACTERS OF GALANTHUS ELWESII HOOK. VAR. ELWESII GROW UNDER NATURAL CONDITIONS

Data obtained from 198 samples were analyzed to estimate statistics describing frequency distributions of the characters. Observed frequency distributions of most of the characters departed obviously from the normality. Estimates of statistics indicated that there are good enough variability to be assessed in cultivation studies under natural conditions or adaptation to diverse environs.
