Abstract:
The growth and fruiting of gooseberry, raspberry and black currant were researched: in lysimeters with 3 stable ground water levels (50, 80 and 110 cm) and in open field on Zulawy polders with alluvial soils, with 2 changeable water tables.
The best growth and crops were obtained from plants cultivated on very heavy alluvial soil with 50–140 cm changeable water tables on polder land with dense open ditches.
The worst conditions were in lysimeters with stable water level at 50 cm.
