Abstract:
Soil Arthropoda communities in hazelnut cultivated areas in Viterbo district (Latium, Central Italy) are studied and some preliminary results are presented.
Two sites were sampled by pitfall-trapping over one year; only macrofauna is considered.
Monthly and annual activity density and their % values of the main taxa recorded are analyzed.
The possible role of agronomic practices as affecting factors of faunistic diversity is discussed.
