HAZELNUT-CULTIVAR EVALUATION IN THE NETHERLANDS |

| Abstract:
The reason for hazelnut-cultivar evaluation in our country has been given during an earlier meeting of this group in 1988, together with some results (1). In short, the aim is to find cultivars suitable for commercial culture, which should according to an economic analysis produce on average at least 2 tonnes (fresh weight) per ha (2). Some data collected in 1988 and 1989 have already been published (3) and those of 1990 and 1991 are mentioned here, including some figures from earlier years. | |
