Abstract:
Hazelnut responses to different irrigation regimes (70% ETm, 100% ETm, 130% ETm, and a Regulated Deficit Irrigation strategy) were evaluated for 1990 and 1991 seasons.
Soil water content, physiological, vegetative growth and fruit growth patterns (seasonal and/or daily), and yield were highly consistent with the amount of water applied by irrigation, showing how sensible is this crop to any type of water stress.
