| Abstract:
In 1991, the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) was appointed a designated authority under the European Community (EC) Directive 89/48. The Directive covers the Mutual Recognition of Professional Qualifications. Although horticulture, at present, is not a regulated profession, the Directive aims to remove barriers with regard to employment in other EC countries. | |
