| Abstract:
The State of Israel is located along the Mediterranean sea at latitudes of 30°N to 32°N with extreme variations in climate derived from change of altitudes, from over 1000 mm above sea level to 400 m below sea level and from change in precipitation from 1000 mm/yr. to 50 mm/yr. This enables us to grow both deciduous temperate fruit species as well as subtropical and even tropical ones. | |
