Abstract:
In the Pacific Northwest, strawberries are grown in a multiple year cropping system.
Winters are generally mild and no winter cold protection is needed.
However, because of the cultural system and climate, strawberry plants in the Pacific Northwest can be damaged by cold temperatures that may not be considered damaging in other parts of the country.
