Abstract:
The aim of the project is to create special software with utilization of modern multimedia technic for databases of strawberries-collection and other plant species.
Genotypes - evaluation is based on botanical, biological, anatomic-morphological and economical characters.
Specific characters of individual genotypes are proved by authentic picture at the level of leaves, flowers and fruits.
Databases enable complete evaluation of collection, selection and sorting of genotypes according to wished characters combination.
It is possible to use proposed method in plant breeding, in evaluation of genetic sources and other research activity.
Software for databases is preparing for personal computers compatible with IBM/AT.
