| Abstract:
With the changes in the populations of noxious arthropods in IPM-orchards and the disappearance of old compounds due to resistance or toxicological or ecotoxicological reasons, new molecules from biological or chemical origin will always be necessary. Also a distinction must be made between IPM as a plant protection strategy or as a system, safer for the environment, which is not always the case. Some very interesting new molecules which might fit in both systems are now registered or close to registration in Belgium. | |
