Abstract:
The concentration of indole-3-acetic acid in rin tomato fruit was higher than normal tomato fruit and steadily increased after harvest.
Endogenous cytokinin levels during ripening did not change much in both tomato fruits.
Cytokinin does not seem to have significant effect on softening in tomato fruits.
Abscisic acid content in normal tomato showed a peak at the breaker stage, while the content was higher in rin tomato and increased slightly during development of fruit.
