PHOSETYL-AL, A NEW WEAPON AGAINST FIRE BLIGHT IN APPLE AND PEAR ORCHARDS |

| Abstract:
Trials conducted by INRA (Angers) and SRPV (Aquitaine) over four years showed that efficacy of fosethyl-al was effective against fire blight (Erwinia amylovora) on apple and pear tree. Disease control was obtained at a range of doses from 0,2 to 0,4 kg /hl by spraying at flowering stage before or during the infection period. Several sprays may be necessary to protect the crop during the infection risk time according to weather conditions. | |
