This paper describes a programme for the use of herbal products that can maximise productivity from the dairy cow.
The programme is applicable not only to the dairy animal as an individual, but also to the modern dairy herd-each production method, after all, has its own problems - the individual animal usually with quality of nutrition, and the modern dairy herd with the stress of high expectations of productivity and associated problems.
This paper will discuss the use of four products assembled from herbs and plants with no chemical transformation of the ingredients.
Routine use of these products is suggested as a means of avoiding many of the problems seen in modern dairy herds.
