| Abstract:
A general view on scientific insight into traditional Chinese drugs (TCD) is presented in this paper. Three main types in the modern studies on TCD include the research of pure principles, crude extracts and recipes. Several TCD are presented, such as Huangqi, Licorice Radix Glycyrrhizae, Ginseng, Chaihu and Qinghao etc. The studies on these herbs showed out marked effects on different diseases by modern pharmacological methods. It is clear that TCD will play an important role in the health of mankind. | |
