Authors:   M.L. Ghosh, S.K. Chatterjee
Abstract:
The present investigation critically analysed the involvement of growth, developmental physiology, floral biology as well as some metabolic functions of Mentha citrata Ehrh and Mentha spicata Linn grown in the gangetic plains of Bengal, India and could establish some distinct relationship between reproductive and biochemical parameters with essential oil formation; the findings promising to augment the yield factor for higher economic returns.
