| Abstract:
Research on selective herbicides on eight aromatic Labiatae was conducted between 1984 and 1991, at the young stages of the crop (seeding, setting). The following species were used : Origanum vulgare L., Origanum majorana L., Salvia officinalis L., Thymus vulgaris L., Mentha piperita L., Melissa officinalis L., Ocimum basilicum L. and Satureja hortensis L. Results confirm, invalidate or complete data issued from international bibliography with reference to plant stages, rates of application and residue analyses. The main selective treatments are not registered yet but applications to "commission nationale d'homologation" for registration will be forthcoming. | |
