| Abstract:
The objective of the research was to study the effect of the planting date and leaf fertilization on bulb yield of Scilla sibirica. Bulbs were planted on different dates and the growing plants were treated with a leaf fertilizer during the vegetative stage. The planting date of the bulbs was proven to be a significant factor for the bulb yield, the earliest planting date in the middle of September being the most favourable one. Leaf fertilization induced an increase in the number of big and small bulbs in the yield. | |
