THE INFLUENCE OF LEAF FERTILIZATION ON THE YIELD OF TULIP BULBS |

| Abstract:
In this study the effect of multicomponent fertilizers (Florovit 0.5% and Mikrol-Combi 0.1%) applied as leaf fertilizer, on the yield of tulip bulbs cv. Apeldoorn was examined. The fertilizers were sprayed on leaves at various moments during the growth period of the plants. The highest yield was obtained when leaf fertilization was applied in the first stage (green buds). The most significant results were found in this stage: the highest total yield measured in units and g/m2, the largest number of marketable bulbs and the most prime quality bulbs. | |
