Abstract:
In this paper the results of a research carried out for Iris flowering planning are reported.
Bulbs grown in Italy were utilized.
Bulbs were subjected to a constant temperature of 13°C for a variable length of time, from 15 to 75 days.
The results show that italian bulbs have a good aptitude for flowering.
Besides a method was developed to lengthen the period of flowering considerably.
