Abstract:
The development of a broad landscape plant breeding program requires a diversity of approaches to deal with equally diverse reproductive strategies employed by target species.
The Agriculture Canada Research Station at Morden has developed and released 114 cultivars suitable for the prairie region of Canada since the station was started in 1915. Many have received local, regional, national and international recognition.
