ISHS Acta Horticulturae 313: III International Symposium on Computer Modelling in Fruit Research and Orchard Management

TRANSFER PROCESSES ABOVE AND WITHIN A PEACH ORCHARD

Authors:   T. Georgiadis, F. Rossi, G. Cristoferi
Keywords:   energy balance, gradient method, canopy attenuation coefficient
Abstract:
Temperature, humidity, wind speed and net radiation patterns were recorded during the vegetative season above and within a peach hedgerow (cv Nectagrand 1 grafted on seedling) trained to free palmette in Italy's Emilia-Romagna Region. The readings micrometeorological variables were used to calculated the stability parameters, which in turn were employed together with a specific canopy flow index to determine the incanopy transfer coefficients and to derive the correspondent fluxes. For the specific orchard considered the energy balance equation was solved.
