Abstract:
Deciduous fruit culture in Colombia is becoming a new industry with a growth rate of 110% over the last year.
Four regions are cultivating them comercially: Boyaca, Nariño, Cundinamarca, Caldas; others are doing so on a lesser scale.
This paper studies the situation of each region and its advantages which in turn will enable them to account for a good percentage of their goals and up to about 20% of the national demand by 1995.
