| Abstract:
A review of the agricultural, electronic databases indicated that CAB ABSTRACTS provided the most useful references on herbs. The completeness of the coverage, which included a wide range of subject material from a number of international sources and the inclusion of references from many journals not listed by AGRICOLA or AGRIS, made CAB ABSTRACTS the first choice. A less expensive search could be accomplished with AGRICOLA if the researcher is only interested in North American and English language articles. AGRIS provides good international coverage with a decidedly greater emphasis on horticulture and production ecology than CAB ABSTRACTS or AGRICOLA. | |
