Abstract:
A 8-year study was conducted to compare effects of different rates of urea and ammonium phosphate and also cow manure on saffron (Crocus sativus L.) production.
The results showed that 100 kg/ha of urea had the best effect in increasing the yield of flower and application of more urea decreased the yield.
In some cases application of 30 tons of cow manure plus 50 kg ammonium phosphate increased the yield but was not significant.
