EXPRIMENTS FOR DETERMINATION THE OPTIMUM HARVESTING TIME OF TANACETUM VULGARE L. |

| Abstract:
In our small plot experiment we wanted to optimalize the harvesting of T. Vulgare, a step in the working-out of the cultivation of a yet wild-growing medicinal plant. We determinated the yield/plant-organs and their essential oil content at different developmental phases. Testing 6 harvesting variations, the most essential oil yield was obtained by cutting the plots 3 times (2,31 g/m2), while using the traditional technics - waiting till the full flowering - only 0,95 g/m2 oil could be reached. Our method did not have any exhausting influence on the plants. | |
