SPORTS COSMETICS CONTAINING MEDICINAL HERB EXTRACTS |

| Abstract:
The utilization of natural ingredients first of all domestic medicinal plants are promising for the use in both professional and amateur sports. The possibility of wide-range application was given by using biologically active materials, respectively their combinations with enhanced, synergetic effect developed in the cosmetics laboratory. Active principles, respectively their combinations and the finished products were tested by pharmacological, clinical and applied technological methods. Special ways of formulation, optimization of technology, physical-chemical and microbiological stability tests constituted the steps of research work. As a result of research, the development of several combinations of active principles proved to be successful. These are so called complexes with oedema-inhibiting, antiphlogistic soothing, regenerating, wound healing moisturizing, local circulation enhancing, antiperspirant, warming up and refreshing effects. Using the compositions 5 very popular preparations with the trade name Richtofit Sport cream, body cooler, hair and body shampoo, conditioning spray and aantiperspirant roll on have been marketed so far.
