Abstract:
The cultivation of Salvia officinalis L. as an aromatic and medicinal plant was shown economically advantageous in the last few years.
Unfortunately, there is no selected and qualified propagation material (seeds or plantlets) on the traditional market.
At best it is possible to find lots of seeds picked up from cultivated fields, which usually produce very heterogeneous sage populations.
