| Abstract:
Haploid plants were produced using three different culture protocols. Regeneration depended on the medium, the cultivar and the time of the year when ovules were excised. Doubled haploids were produced with an efficiency of 60 % using two colchicine treatment methods. Also tetraploids and chimaeras were obtained after colchicine treatment. In total 129 doubled haploid lines were produced. | |
