| Abstract:
Generally bulbflowers are stored at low temperatures after the harvest and during auctioning and transportation. Tulips, daffodils and irises react differently to a combination of low temperature and dry storage. For instance tulips and irises need water before storage and in case of prolonged storage they should be kept in water. Daffodils, however, should be kept dry. The effect of dry storage on the quality of tulips will be given in this paper. | |
