Abstract:
China has the most abundant wild Actinidia resources in the world.
Exploration of these resources, selection and breeding, tissue and cell culture, and postharvest physiology and storage studies carried out during the last 10 years, are summarised in this paper.
Commercial development and utilisation are also discussed.
