IMAG DECISION-SUPPORT SYSTEM FOR TREE NURSERIES |

| Abstract:
Recently, 'BoomCompas', a prototype of a decision-support system for tree nurseries has been developed at IMAG. The system is to a large extent configured to deal with the lack of knowledge about labour allocation. Its main aim, however, is to track the total costs per plant. So, the allocation of labour is complemented with a method to allocate all the other costs. The system is based on standard databases for workingmethods, production processes, standardtimes, plantnames, machinery and materials all obtained in recent research. | |
