Authors:   K.H. Dabaj, G. Jenser
Abstract:
Pratylenchus hexincisus Taylor et Jenkins has been observed as most the dominant species in the rizosphere of dieback and completely died trees in a replanted apricot orchard in Hungary. The number of its individuals was high in the rizosphere of apricot on root-stock wild apricot and myrobalan in the nursery too. On the average 161 specimens in 200 g. of soil on wild apricot, 213 specimens in 200 g. of soil on myrobalan root-stocks were counted. This is the first report of P. hexincisus associated with apricot.
