APRICOT ADAPTATION APPROACH BY PHOTOSYNTHETIC AND STOMATAL RESISTANCE CRITERIA

Authors:   L. Brun, J. Audergon, P. Schoch, P. Crossa-Raynaud, J. L'Hotel
Abstract:
An approach of apricot adaptation was conducted in order to characterise the influence of the main variation factors as localization and soil on a susceptible variety "Polonais".

Different criteria were investigated as growth, net photosynthesis, stomatal resistance.

An interesting correlation exists between defined criteria, there is a real incidence of tested factors : soil and localisation on registered variables. The localisation expression appears stronger than the soil one. Soil effect expression seemed to be larger in well adapted condition.

Stomatal density followed the same evolution than neat photosynthesis.
