In the "Kossuth" Agricultural Cooperative (La josmizse) the twice grafted high plum trunk guarantees
- the diminution of apoplexy decline
- growth is checked, shaping pruning is not necessary
- picking rate is higher, more export quality fruits
- the strong plum trunk facilitates mechanical harvest.
In the "Magyar-Szovjet Barátság" Agricultural Cooperative (Kecskemét) irrigation produced
- diminution of apoplexy decline, more regular yields.
Among "Kajszi" varieties the MK.153 and among "Rózsa" ones the Borsi rózsa proved to be best in this region.
The present political and economic reforms are facilitating the reorganization of small farms where work is more carefully and productively carried out.
The so called "two-storey culture" in farming has begun to reappear in this region.
The combination of apricot trees with either grape vines or berry-producing bushes is renewing hopes for an increase in farming security.
