| Abstract:
The results are given of a survey carried out in Sardinia to study and evaluate the island's apricot genetic resources. A great variety of characteristics was found, deriving from the large number of different cultivars introduced in the past as well as to the still widespread practice of propagating by seed. In this note, the chief pomological characteristics of 11 particularly interesting cultivars are reported. | |
