| Abstract:
The challenge has been accepted in this paper to review, evaluate and suggest better methods of research in these field operational disciplines of nutrition, water usage, and tree canopy management. The latter including rootstocks, plant density arrangements and canopy manipulation. The proposal is that much research in this field has had little long term impact on the scientific understanding of the mango. Also this research has not serviced producers well, and given them the ability to commercially manage the crop confidently in a market driven sense. | |
