JASMONIC ACID AND TISSUE CULTURE OF GARLIC-MONOCOTYLEDONS |

| Abstract:
Current preliminary results indicate that JA in a concentration 0.1μM shows stimulatory effect on the development of isolated garlic buds (Allium sativum L. c.v. Ptuj) after two weeks of culture. However, buds on media with 10μM JA were retarded in growth. The effect of JA on rooting and bulb formation of in vitro derived plants are under investigation. | |
