| Abstract:
Mineral nutrient uptake in vitro is affected by medium composition, plant tissue composition and the culture environment. The general pattern of uptakets is similar to in vivo plants except for a reduction in Ca. Definition of these factors is the first step towards developing a model to predict suitable media compositions based on analysis of in vivo grown plant tissues. | |
