| Abstract:
Micropropagation of Artocarpus heterophyllus was acheived by culturing nodal explants of mature trees on MS (Murashige and Skoog, 1962) revised medium. Shoot induction and multiplication was acheived with 1.0 mgl-1 BA and 0.5 mgl-1 NAA or IAA. Rooting occured best in MS medium with 0.05 mgl-1 Kn + 1.5 mgl-1 IBA. Regenerants were successfully established on soil. | |
