Abstract:
Short light regimes such as 4 hrs light - 2 hrs dark induced a shorter main axis and longer and more numerous axillary shoots than 16 hrs light - 8 hrs dark.
This behaviour seems related to the reduction of apical dominance as a consequence of short light - dark regime application.
