Abstract:
An investigation on pollinators of Actinidia deliciosa Chev. pointed out that the most important insect (44,74%) was Apis m. ligustica Spin.; Latr. attained 20,53%, less representative pollinators were: Sirphydae (15,53%), Andrena minutula K. (10,52%) and Lasioglossum interruptum Panz. (8,68%). Other insects were found, but were not little numerous.
Nectar pollen competitive flora foraged by pollinators during flowering of Actinidia was described.
The flowers freely pollinated produced fruits that were more numerous, greater, heavier and with more seeds that the ones isolated.
The pollination action of wind needs further verifications.
