To demonstrate the value of insects during the flowering period of raspberries and strawberries, the quantities and qualities of formed fruit were compared between measured, insect-proof and control plots. Techniques in introducing honey-bees to experimental plant-breeding houses and polythene tunnels were also explored. | |
