| Abstract:
To manage habitats for pollinating bumblebees we require increased public awareness, and more information on forage, nest site and habitat requirements. A national survey, designed to improve public appreciation of bumblebees, yielded useful information on phenology, distribution and flower usage. We give examples of results, and discuss constraints and advantages of the method. | |
